Project Overview

Conservation renovation of the Thomas Telford designed Grey Coast buildings at Wick Harbour to act at the BOWL Operations and Maintenance base for the Beatrice Offshore Windfarm.

Work Carried Out

Initial demolition and asbestos removal
Removal of Saltoun St wall in rebuilding with lime mortar and pointing
Building of internal blockwork walls
Foul & Storm water drainage installation
Installation of internal concrete foundations and slabs
Installation of goal post columns
Installation of I joisting and acoustic flooring
Installation of multideck flooring and pouring
Installation of lift shaft and lift
Installation of precast staircases
Refurbishment of existing roof trusses
Installation of new prefabricated roof trusses
Leadwork and slating
Joiner first fix
Joiner second fix
Fire compartmentation works
Painting and decoration
Floor coverings
Installation of doors and windows
Concrete foundations for steel portal frame
Erection of steel portal frame
Insulated roof cladding
Development of 2 no. car park areas with SUDS arrangement
